Update on Yesterday's Story

Thanks everyone for your thoughts on my post yesterday regarding the SANs dog. Animal Contol did come out and assess the dog. She has a terrible case of mange and big open sores on her back. She is extremely skinny and malnourished (could be due to her age, but I doubt it) but the mange and sores are an unacceptable condition. AC left a 24-hour notice to contact them or she would come back and take the dog. That was my hope, but their friend,Red Truck Dude (must be starving feeding her) came sometime before 6:00 last evening and took the dog and the note. DAMN....I don't know if it did it for the sake of the dog or the lousy SANs. BTW...there are two cats locked up in the house not one...which are usually outside or pooping in my swimming pool sand located directly under my bedroom window.

Oh well...I am really optimistic that something good will come out of this for the dog. She deserves better...
